Standard 2 meter band plans for repeater outputs are as follows: 145.100 - 145.500 ( -600KHz transmitter inputs ) 146.600 - 147.000 ( -600KHz transmitter inputs ) 147.000 - 147.400 ( +600KHz transmitter inputs ) Notice that 147.000 has some repeaters that are +600KHz and some that are -600KHz. On the 440-450 MHz band, the standard offset is 5.00 MHz. If the receive frequency is between 442.000 and 444.975, then the transmitter frequency is 447.000 and 449.475 (+5.00 MHz). These are the more common repeaters. A few repeaters work opposite, having RECEIVE frequencies between 447.000 and 449.475. These repeaters have the transmitter (input) in the 442.000 and 444.974 (-5.00 MHz). If a PL_TONE has a question mark (?) next to it, it's because the PL tone is either unknown, or unsure. If you don't know a PL tone, there are a few PL frequencies you might want to try that are more common for this area. They are 131.8, 141.3 or 151.4 Hz. If an offset is other than the stardard offset frequencies, with just a plus (+), or minus (-) sign, an offset frequency will be shown in MHz. On the 2 meter band, most repeater outputs are in the following areas: -- OUTPUTS -- -- INPUTS -- 145.100-145.500 (-600 KHz) 144.500-144.900 146.600-147.000 (-600 KHz) 146.000-146.400 147.000-147.400 (+600 KHz) 147.600-148.000 442.000-445.000 (+5.0 MHz) 447.000-450.000 447.000-450.000 (-5.0 MHz) 442.000-445.000 The OUTPUTS are wher you listen, and the inputs are where you transmit. Typical simplex frequencies for the 2 meter band are from 146.400 to 146.600, and 147.400 to 147.600. Typical simplex frequencies for the 70 centimeter band are from 445.000 to 447.000. Normal simplex and repeater frequencies are separated by 15 KHz in the 146 and 147 MHz parts of the 2 meter band, and 20 mhz in the 145 repeater band. Normal simplex and repeater frequencies are separated by 12.5 KHz in the 440-450 MHz parts of the 70 centimeter band. ***************************************************************************** 2 meter band (144 - 148 MHz) 70 cm band (440 - 450 MHz) RECEIVE OFFSET PL_TONE LOCATION (Comments) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 145.190 - 131.8 Sellersville, PA 145.250 - 131.8 Feasterville, PA (W3SK/Penn Wireless Assoc) 145.270 - 131.8 Philadelphia, PA (at Channel 6 Studio) 145.290 - 131.8?
